Three masked and armed men entered a Crockett residence early Saturday morning, March 23 and demanded money from the four occupants of the home, Crockett Police Chief David "Buddy" Cross reported in a statement Monday, March 25. According to Cross, at approximately 1:15 a.m. Crockett police officers responded to the 100 block of West Goliad in reference to shots fired in the area. Upon arrival, owners of a residence in the area advised officers that three masked men with handguns entered the residence without the owners' consent. The men allegedly demanded money from the four occupants in the residence, Cross reported. "The gunmen fired several rounds inside the residence during the robbery, not striking anyone inside the residence then fled," Cross said. The victims of the crime described the perpetrators as possibly being two black males and possibly a Hispanic male. Anyone with information about this aggravated robbery is encouraged to contact CPD Investigator Alfredo Fajardo or any other officer with the Crockett Police Department at 544- 2021. They do not have to give their name and can remain anonymous.
