A nearby resident reported the officers were protected by flak jackets and shields when they approached the house at about 7 - 7:30 a.m. Corey Deshuan Hubbard, 29, B/M of Crockett, was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (felony offense) and Possession of Marijuana (misdemeanor offense), according to Smith. Maceo Vinquay Mask, 27, B/M of Crockett, was arrested and charged with Possession of Firearm by a Felon and Obstruction or Retaliation. Both charges are felony offenses. CPD Chief David "Buddy" Cross stated, "We look forward to working with the Houston County Sheriff's Department to combat the drug problem in Crockett and Houston County.
