Chamber hosts monthly meeting

The Crockett Area Chamber of Commerce had a full house for the November luncheon held Wednesday, Nov. 7 

A delicious lunch combined with a dynamic program presented by Martha Huett  on the importance of  Internet participation kept the audience’s attention. 

Ms. Huett emplasized the importance of being visible on the Internet with a website. 

Ms. Huett  stated chamber of commerce members reaped the benefits of being on the chamber’s website.

New to the chamber luncheon, is an opportunity to display business information or a sampling of retail items sold. 

Many chamber members displayed items and realized the potential of networking and the value of marketing opportunities. 

Also recognized was the Business of the Month Awards presented to: Jesse L. Stephens, CPA; Mask Chiropractic Clinic, Dr. Wayne Mask and his wife Amanda; Piney Woods Fine Arts Association, Bryan Lake; Docs Country Store and BBQ, Andy Lawrence accepted the award for  Jack Patton and Boot Heel Printing and Office Supply Co-owners George Merrick and Diana Peterson. 

A  Platinum Membership  Plaque was presented to  ElastoTech. Bob Lewellan and staff accepted the  award.

The  next chamber luncheon will be held on Dec. 5 at noon at the Crockett Civic Center.
