Cowboys come to Dodge City

A bunch of real cowboys from Ft. Houston Rangers will be heading to Dodge City for the Crime Stoppers "Gunsmoke, Law and Order in the Wild West" banquet on Tuesday, Feb. 26.
The exciting action will begin in the Crockett Civic Center at 6:30 p.m. and include a barbecue dinner, auction and appearances by several Gunsmoke characters including Marshal Matt Dillon, Festus, Miss Kitty, Doc, pioneer women, rustler, blacksmith, newspaper man, banker and the Hangin' Judge.
The real cowboys from Ft. Houston Rangers will delight the audience with not only their antics, but also their authentic portrayal of the old west.
To add to the flavor of the event, the Gillette Brothers will provide a special performance for those attending.
Immediately following dinner, the Houston County Crime Stoppers board of directors will recognize, and pay tribute to, law enforcement, firefighters and members of all aspects of emergency services for their dedication to citizens.
Recognized corporate tables seating six are available for a donation of $100.
Individual tickets are available at $15.
