Leap babies due to be born

According to officials at the Birthing Center at ETMC Crockett, at least two babies were expected to be born on Leap Day, Friday. Feb. 29.
Leap Day only occurs once every four years. Those born on Leap Day only have a birthday every four years.
According to a national news broadcast on Leap Day, about one million people in the United States celebrated their birthday on Leap Day this year.
The courier will publish a story on the Leap Day babies in a future edition.
