In the Tuesday, March 4 Primary Election, Houston County 5,776 voters cast ballots for candidates in the upcoming November General Election.
The election results include a total of 2,259 voters who took advantage of early voting held Tuesday, Feb. 19 - Friday, Feb. 29. A total of 1,053 Democrats and 1,206 Republicans cast early votes. A total of 2,622 Republicans voted and 3,154 Democrats cast ballots.
According to information provided by Houston County Clerk Bridget Lamb on Wednesday morning, March 5 preliminary results from the Primary Election are as follows:
