Jordan School students had the time of their life Thursday, March 13 as they dressed as their favorite character to participate in the Nursery Rhyme Presentation.
Two pre-kindergarten classes dressed up for the audience that consisted of their parents, grandparents and other classmates.
Little Boy Blue, Little Miss Muffit, Humpty Dumpty, Itsy Bitsy Spider and Mary had a Little Lamb were a few of the adorable characters present for the fun-filled and educational event.
The characters danced to music and acted out the nursery rhyme songs for everyone’s enjoyment.
Teacher’s Michelle Craven and Linda Applewhite participated with the some 20 children. The teachers also worked with the students prior to the event to fine-tune the dances and performances.
“This is a yearly event and the teachers look forward to their kids giving their nursery rhyme presentation each year,” said Debbie Kelly, Jordan School headmaster.
