Crime Stoppers offers reward for tips on vehicle arson

LIVINGSTON — Police and Fire Marshal Mark Taylor are currently investigating an arson that took place July 19, at The Bradford at Brookside. Security video shows several subjects setting an employee’s vehicle on fire while it sat unattended in the parking lot, according to Det. Leon Middleton. “Afterwards the suspects got into a white SUV with chrome rims and fled the scene,” Middleton said. Forest Springs burglary On July 26, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office initiated a criminal investigation in the Forest Springs Subdivision on Highway 146 South, after items were reportedly stolen out of residents’ vehicles while parked at their residences overnight Items that were taken out of the vehicles include electronic computer equipment, cash, and firearms.
