Man killed when ATV overturns

MOSCOW – A Texas City man died after the all-terrain vehicle he was driving overturned on a Polk County highway late Friday, according to the Texas Highway Patrol. Jerry Ralph Vancleave, Jr., 54, was riding a Yamaha 450 Grizzly ATV westbound on FM 62 at an unsafe speed when it rolled over, ejecting the driver, according to Trooper David Morris.Vancleave was taken to Memorial Medical Center- Lufkin, where he was pronounced dead. His body was later taken to Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City. The accident occurred at 11:20 p.m., three-tenths of a mile east of Moscow.
