Two children injured in Onalaska ATV accident

LIVINGSTON – Two children were injured Saturday in a fourwheeler accident near Onalaska, according to Texas Highway Patrol reports. A 2003 Polaris four-wheeler driven by a 12-year-old female from Conroe was westbound on Holly Cove Road, nine-tenths of a mile north of Onalaska, when the driver attempted to turn and the vehicle traveled off the roadway, according to Trooper Robert Akers. The four-wheeler overturned, ejecting the driver and a 5-yearold passenger, coming to rest upside down. Both were listed with non-incapacitating injuries. The driver declined medical treatment at the scene and the passenger was transported by ambulance to Memorial Medical Center – Livingston, according to the accident report. No charges were filed in connection with the accident, which occurred at 4:45 p.m. |
