Polk County delegates attend state Farm Bureau convention

LIVINGSTON —Delegates from Polk County Farm Bureau recently participated in the 75th annual Texas Farm Bureau Convention in Corpus Christi. Kevin and Diana Snook, George and Phyllis Harrell, Jay and Patricia Snook and Mack and Wendy Ross were delegates attending the convention. More than 1200 delegates from 207 organized farm bureaus adopted policies directing the state’s largest farm organization. Approved recommendations on national policies will advance to the American Farm Bureau Federation annual meeting to be held in San Antonio. Kenneth Dierschke, incoming president and Vernie Glasson, TFB executive director addressed the delegates during the conference. The business session covered the final day of meetings where Dierschke of San Angelo was elected president of TFB.
