LISD takes action against students sharing meds
LIVINGSTON — Officials with Livingston Independent School District sent notices home with students on Tuesday reporting that they had taken disciplinary action against a student distributing prescription medication on a school bus Tuesday. “Officials at Livingston Intermediate School were informed of an incident regarding the distribution of prescription medications by students on one of our school busses. The incident was investigated and the students involved were disciplined,” said LISD spokesman Gregg Faith.. “We believe that this incident was limited to one school bus and the parents of those riders have been notified. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your local campus administration,” Faith said. Parents of the students who may have received the drug were notified so they could seek medical treatment.
