Cable interruptions scheduled for Livingston area customers
Polk County Enterprise - July 2009
LIVINGSTON — VersaLink Media LLC, the new cable television provider in the Livingston area, will begin upgrading cable systems next week. Beginning Wednesday evening, July 8, the company will replace and upgrade equipment throughout Livingston and surrounding areas. The equipment upgrade is expected to take six weeks. VersaLink will begin equipment changes in Livingston city limits and work their way out to surrounding areas. The upgrade and replacement of equipment will affect all cable television reception in their customer service area. “Subscribers will notice interruptions of 30 to 45 minutes between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. when technicians are working in their specific area,” Richard Black, technical operations manager said. Line extenders, a major part of the upgrade scheduled, is planned between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. The company recognizes the interruptions are an inconvenience and attempts to accommodate the prime time viewing hours for its customers. VersaLink customers may call 1-877-689-6009 for more information.
