Onalaska Council to weigh smoking law

ONALASKA — Discussion and review an ordinance restricting smoking in public places is on the agenda for the Onalaska City Council meeting to be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday. The meeting notice adds that the council will take no action Tuesday after the discussion. A second ordinance to be considered would require a permit for commercial fi lming within the City of Onalaska. After review, the council will consider it for approval. The budget for fi scal year 2008- 09 is also set for review and possible amendments. Department heads will also report to council on activity in the police, fi re, building and library departments. City Hall is located at 372 S. FM 356 near U.S. 190.
