Corrigan man arrested for felony marijuana possession

CORRIGAN – A local resident was arrested and charged with a felony charge of possession of marijuana in the Reily Village area Feb. 18.According to a Polk County Sheriff’s Offi ce report, Deputy Darrin Crow initiated a traffi c stop on a vehicle driven by Delvin Foreman of Corrigan near Reily Village. Due to the nervous posture of Foreman and the faint smell of marijuana in the vehicle, Crow asked for consent to search the vehicle. After fi rst denying consent to search, Foreman then admitted to some marijuana located under the driver’s seat of the vehicle. After being placed under arrest, Crow searched the vehicle and located a total of 1.5 pounds of marijuana, which was all pre-packaged with the intent to sell and distribute it.
