Narcotics taken in robbery
LIVINGSTON — Police are working to identify a white male who entered the Medical Chest Pharmacy (fomerly Medical Center Discounty Pharmacy) on Eastwood Drive at 8:45 a.m. Saturday, displayed a firearm and demanded narcotics. Lt. Matt Parrish of the Livingston Police Department said the robber fled on foot but investigators believe he was picked up by a four-door 1990s model light blue Lincoln Town Car a short distance away from the pharmacy. “No one was injured and the suspect was in and out in a short period of time,” Parrish said. Pharmacists were still working on an exact count of what drugs were taken, Parrish said. Anyone with information about the identity of the suspect shown in surveillance video taken from the store or the owner and/ or location of the vehicle is asked to call LPD at 936- 327-3117 or Polk County Crime Stoppers at 936-327-7867.
