Traffic changes ahead for Hwy. 146
Progess on the resurfacing project on Hwy. 146 (Houston St) means more changes are ahead for motorists in Livingston. Work crews will shift operations to the northbound lane in the coming week and will reopen side street on the west side of the project and close streets on the east side of Hwy. 146. As of Tuesday evening, officials with Texas Department of Transportation were continuing discussions on whether the newly resurfaced lane would be open to two-way traffic or northbound only, according to TxDOT spokeswoman Kathi White. |
