6 arrested for fake marijuana
LIVINGSTON — Six suspects were arrested following the search of residence off Chris Brent Drive in the Wiggins Village Subdivision by detectives with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office The investigators were acting on several tips received from the public about the possible illegal use and sale of narcotics from the residence. Detectives Andy Lowrie, Howard Smith, and Chris Lima were assisted in the search by Deputy David Mitchell and Fire Marshall Jay Barbee who was called to assist due with the disposal of illegal solid waste. During the search of the residence several opened and unopened bags of (K-2) commonly known by users as Kush or fake marijuana were found throughout the residence, marijuana, and devices used to ingest the illegal substance. In all detectives arrested people from the residence: Cameron Mosely, 22 of Livingston, charged with possession controlled substance, penalty group 2A , who also had two outstanding warrants; Jamal Carter, 20, Alicia Reeves, 17; Kevin Hales, 18; Justin Lampson, 21; and Traci Hammers, 41, all of Livingston were all charged with possession of a controlled substance penalty group 2A. Additional charges are expected as Fire Marshal Barbee continues his investigation.
