Two jailed for assault that left man with broken facial bones

LIVINGSTON — Police were called to the emergency room at Memorial Medical Center- Livingston on Oct. 10 when a man arrived at the hospital with lacerations on his face and lips and a swollen eye and jaw. He told Livingston Police Officer Ashley Brame that he had been assaulted after a verbal altercation at an apartment complex at 901 Forest Hollow in Livingston. Brame’s report shows the man had a large amount of head trauma including broken bones in his face from the assault, Lt. Matt Parrish said Tuesday. Warrants were issued for three individuals. Justin Jermaine Brown, 20, of Livingston and Tchalla Rhashaed Washington, 28, of Livingston have since been arrested on a charge of aggravated assault with serious bodily injury. A third arrest is pending, Parrish said.
