LJH locked down briefly Friday
LIVINGSTON — A spokesman for Livingston I.S.D. said the junior high campus was locked down briefly Friday as students were being dismissed after a man visited the offices of several campuses looking for a student. The unusual occurrence triggered a security alert to Livingston police who met the man at the junior high. Officers identified the man and determined he had no outstanding warrants. At that time, campus officials learned the student’s mother had called the junior high and authorized the man, the student’s grandfather, to pick up the child. Trustees will tour the Livingston High School campus at a special meeting called for 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. The board holds a monthly lunch meeting at an LISD campus. |
