PCSO arrests fugitive at his mother's house in Liberty County
LIVINGSTON — Detectives with the Polk County Sheriff's Office arrested Marshall Shane Lovell, 40, of Livingston, at his mother's residence in Liberty County on Jan. 17. The arrest stemmed from an investigation by narcotics detectives in which a large amount of methamphetamine was seized about two weeks ago during a search of Lovell's home in Polk County. At the time the search warrant was executed, Lovell's wife and son were arrested and charged with manufacture and delivery of controlled substance. Based on the investigation, Detectives Chris Lima and Vance Berry obtained a felony warrant on Lovell for endangering a child. As a result of the arrest of Lovell at his mother's residence, a search warrant was obtained. As a result of the arrest and subsequent search warrant Lovell was additionally charged with manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 in an amount equal to or more than 400 grams and possession of certain chemicals used to manufacture a controlled substance. Bonds were set totaling $450,000 by Polk County Precinct 1 Justice of the Peace Darrell Longino. As a result of the arrest, charges are also pending against Lovell for assault of a public servant and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
