Deputies seize large quantity of meth, arrest 2
LIVINGSTON — Narcotics detectives found a large quantity of methamphetine in plain sight when they went to a residence in the Big Thicket Lake Estates Subdivision on Saturday in an attempt to serve a felony arrest warrant. Polk County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Detectives Christopher Lima and Vance Berry went to the residence to serve the outstanding warrants on Marshall Shane Lovell. They arrived at the residence and spoke with his wife, Tina Lovell and entered the home but he was not there. While inside they found narcotics in plain view and secured the residence. The officers obtained a search warrant from Pct. 1 Justice of the Peace Darrell Longino. During execution of the search warrant, narcotics detectives found five one-pot meth labs and cocaine inside the residence. Tina Lovell and her son Marshall Lee Lovell were arrested at the scene and both were charged with manufacturing a controlled substance equal to or greater than 400 grams and possessing certain chemicals to manufacture a controlled substance, both of which are felony offenses. Marshall Shane Lovell remains at large and is wanted by the Polk County Sheriff's Office.
