Cops scramble to find eggers
LIVINGSTON — Officers with Livingston Police Department responded to the Oak Forest subdivision Tuesday, Aug, 27, after several unattended vehicles were "egged" during the night, according to a statement by Det. Marty Drake released Tuesday. "The vehicles that were damaged appeared to be chosen completely at random with no specific motive toward any individuals or establishments," Drake said. During the investigation at the scene, officers located physical evidence which linked several local individuals to the criminal mischief. "Due to the aggregate amount of damage caused, it is being investigated as a state-jail felony," Drake said. The Livingston Police Department is close to completing this investigation and should have the actors charged very soon.
