Prostitution charge filed in Onalaska
ONALASKA – An investigation launched on March 12 was concluded last week with the arrest of a 23-year-old Onalaska woman on a prostitution charge. Amanda Kay Reynolds, also known as "Roxxxie Red", was arrested Thursday, March 27, by Onalaska Police Sgt. Josh Alexander, Officer Forrest Tooley, Officer Albert Richard and Polk County Sheriff's Deputy Byron Dunaway. In addition to serving an arrest warrant, the officers also were armed with a search warrant for Reynolds' residence at 129 Seagull Lane in Onalaska. According to investigators, the Onalaska Police Department received a tip about a possible prostitute operating on Onalaska on March 12. As part of that tip, investigators were given a website address which reportedly identified the suspect and her operations. Following an investigation by Alexander and Tooley, enough information was gathered for them to obtain an arrest warrant. During the search of the residence, officers located multiple cell phones, computers, numerous sex toys, stolen credit cards, as well as drug paraphernalia and controlled substances. During the course of the investigation, the names of several local men believed to have been involved in solicitation of prostitution were given to investigators. Investigators also received the names of local narcotic traffickers in and around the city. Reynolds was booked into the Polk County Jail on a state jail felony charge of enhanced prostitution. The charge was elevated due to six prior convictions and a bond forfeiture warrant issued for her arrest issued by Dallas County authorities in connection with a possession of cocaine charge. Several other charges are pending based on information gathered during the investigation.
