Rollover closes 59 : Two flown to Houston

LIVINGSTON  — A pickup travelling northbound in the left-hand lane of U.S. 59 just  north of Seven Oaks at about noon Wednesday flipped and crashed after a tire blew out, reports from troopers with the Texas Department of Public Safety show.
The blow-out sent the Ford truck across both northbound lanes of traffic, flipping several times before coming to rest on its roof.
Troopers stopped traffic in northbound and southbound lanes for about 45 minutes to create landing zones for two helicopters, officials said.
The driver and a passenger were flown to Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston.
