Two injured in head-on crash on FM 1988

LIVINGSTON – Two women suffered injuries in a head-on crash on FM 1988 near the Mt. Rose community at about 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Texas Department of Public Safety reports show.
Tanna Hendrix, 23, of Livingston was northbound on FM 1988 in a 1992 GMC 1500 pickup when the truck entered the oncoming lane and collided with a 2006 Hyundai Santa Fe driven by Deborah Graves of Galveston. Hendrix was taken by helicopter to CHRISTUS Hospital-St. Elizabeth in Beaumont. Graves was taken by ambulance to Memorial Medical Center – Livingston.
On Wednesday, two men were injured in a one-car rollover accident, DPS reports show. Fredrick Dunham, 25, of Huntsville was ejected from his vehicle after it flipped and landed upside down.
Dunham lost control while attempting to navigate a curve at an unsafe speed on northbound FM 350, according to DPS. Dunham and a passenger, Jason Allen, 21, of Woodville were transported by ambulance to Memorial Medical Center – Livingston.
