Multiple accidents luckily,few injuries

LIVINGSTON – A 37-year-old Conroe man was injured early Tuesday in a one-vehicle accident on FM 943, 16.6 miles south of Livingston.
A 2007 Chevrolet pickup truck driven by Roger Brandon Dunlap, 27, of Onalaska was eastbound when the driver failed to negotiate a curve in the road, according to Texas Highway Patrol Trooper Robert Akers. The driver lost control of the vehicle, which came to rest in the tree line.
Dunlap was listed as uninjured, but a passenger in the pickup truck, Thomas Duane Marshall of Conroe, was listed with non-incapacitating injuries and was transported by private vehicle to Memorial Medical Center -- Livingston.
Dunlap was cited for unsafe speed and failure to maintain financial responsibility in connection with the accident, which occurred at 5:13 a.m.
Also investigated by the Highway Patrol was a two-vehicle accident at 6:48 p.m. Sunday on U.S. 59, 2.6 miles north of Livingston.
A 2006 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Shirley Jean Wyatt, 49, of Livingston and a 2002 Isuzu Axiom driven by Sharon Faye Koller, 51, of Orange were both southbound.
Wyatt slowed to turn right onto Marston Road and her vehicle was struck in the rear by Koller’s, according to Trooper Glen Goodwin.
Koller, listed with incapacitating injuries, was transported by ambulance to the Livingston hospital. Wyatt and a passenger in her car were listed with possible injuries.
Four people were listed as injured in a three-vehicle accident at 6:10 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, on U.S. 190, 1.8 miles east of Livingston.
A 2006 Chevrolet pickup truck driven by James Alvis Nettles, 79, of Livingston; a 2000 Toyota pickup truck driven by Denise R. Lyon, 26, of Lufkin and a 1991 Nissan Maxima driven by Tomeka Yvette Kyles, 27, of Livingston were all eastbound in the inside lane.
Kyles slowed to turn left into a private drive, Lyon also slowed, but Nettles’ pickup truck struck the rear of Lyon’s car, which then struck Kyles’ vehicle, according to Trooper Darwon Evans.
Lyon, listed with non-incapacitating injuries, and Nettles, listed with possible injuries, were both transported by ambulance to the Livingston hospital.

Kyles and a passenger in her car, 35-year-old Elicia M. Ledesma of Livingston, were both listed with non-incapacitating injuries, according to the trooper’s.
