Third degree felony charges are also pending against Eric Deandre Criswell, 31, of Livingston who was arrested in the 1200 block of Preston Nov. 8.

LPD Officer Scott Paske responded to a call about a disturbance in progress in the area and saw the suspect walking away from the reported location of the disturbance. Paske asked him to stop, but the man continued to walk away and the officer saw him throw down a small white plastic bag as he walked away.

Paske caught up with the subject and stopped him.

He retrieved the plastic bag which contained less than one gram of a white powdery substance believed to be cocaine.
