Three crashes in 15 minutes test first responders Thursday

LIVINGSTON — Police, fire and EMS personnel were stretched along about a half-mile of West Church Street Thursday night re-sponded to two simultaneous crash-es that occurred at 6:47 p.m.A 1995 black and white Isuzu bound lane of West Church Street at the west entrance to Wal-Mart. The driver of the Isuzu, Lizzi Green Levy of Livingston, was cit-ed for failure to yield right of way in an open intersection.Livingston Police reports show a 1998 white Chevrolet Cavalier was stopped for a red light in the west- sued, although Officer Kurt Riley’s report indicated that driver inatten-tion and failure to stop at the proper place contributed to the accident.At 7:03 p.m. a 1995 green Mazda 626 was waiting in a parking lot at 1500 West Church to turn right into westbound lanes on West Church.
As the car pulled out a bicycle passed in front of her, according to a crash report filed by Officer Caran Coward. Ricky Lee Chiles, 49, of Livingston was listed as sustaining possible injuries.Jennifer Marie Gardiner, 23, of Livingston was cited for driving while license suspended.
