The Polk County Youth Rodeo Association readies facilities for Trinity-Neches Show

LIVINGSTON—The Polk County Youth Rodeo Association recently met to put the final touches on upcoming events for the youth of the community. Meeting discussions focused on: electing a 2008 July Rodeo secretary, Beauties and the Beasts year long playday series, awards, painting the concession room, meeting room construction, roof repairs, arena care, Trinity Neches Livestock Show, NBHA events, PCYRA scholarships, committees, ROFCC Bull Bash and other upcoming events. Debbie Oliver was elected to be the 2008 Rodeo Secretary for the Annual July Rodeo set for July 23-26. Upcoming March events are the Trinity Neches Livestock Show- March 25 to 29.
Please note that the arena will be closed to riders for the show beginning March 17. Be a PCYRA Playday Series Tee Shirt Sponsor and show your support! Have your company, club, or your name added to the back of the playday series tee shirts that will be worn all year long. All sales of these tee shirts will goes towards awards and expenses. These shirts will be available through the concessions at all playday events. See the logo on the website. Contact the PCYRA for more information about sponsoring on the tee shirts. A reminder to all new key holders... all keys are to be purchased at the monthly members meetings held each month. Members should review their copy of the PCYRA By-Laws on the rules and courtesies to abide by when using the arena and grounds.
