San Antonio – The Open Breeding Swine show was held February 7th at the San Antonio Livestock Show & Rodeo.
   Yorkshire Grand Champion Boar honors went to Charles Real of Marion, Texas.
   Loren Eichman of Apple Springs, Texas, won Reserve Grand Champion with her boar, “Little Boy.”
   Eichman is a 4th grader and a member of Apple Springs 4-H. She plays basketball and would one day like to attend Texas A&M and become a veterinarian.
   In pursuit of its mission “Helping Youth Today So That Agriculture Can Grow Tomorrow,” the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo has committed more than $79 million to youth education since 1984.
