Crimestoppers Looking for Information

    This week Crime Stopper’s is looking for information on crime that has been occurring in the county. Last month there were 21 reported cases of theft or burglary in rural areas. If you know who is committing these crimes or where the stolen items are being disposed of call Crime Stopper’s today. Remember, when you call Crime Stopper’s the call is not answered locally. Calls are now answered by the Crime Stopper answering service located outside of Trinity County to protect your identity.
    Remember, when you call Crime Stoppers, it is completely anonymous. Do not give your name you will be assigned a confidential tip number so you can follow the progress of your information. All calls are confidential and any information that leads to the arrest of the offender(s) that comes through the Trinity County Crime Stoppers will result in a cash reward. That reward can be up to $1,000 in cash! Remember; do not give your name when you call.
    Please make a habit of checking the Crime Stoppers column in your newspaper. We will run articles on cases that are of special interest to law enforcement. Call us with any information about criminal activity even if your information does not fit the crime being emphasized that week.
