Susie Hammond seeks City Council position

Dear Citizens of Groveton,

I am pleased to announce that I have filed for a position on Groveton City Council and I sincerely look forward to serving the residents of this city. I have called Trinity County home my entire life and moved into the City of Groveton nine years ago.

I have attended several council meetings over the past years; my husband served on the council for six years and I am familiar with the procedures and requirements necessary to fulfill the obligation of an elected city council member.

I pledge to the citizens of Groveton that when you elect me to represent you I will do so with integrity, honesty, and equality in the best interest of every citizen in Groveton. I love this community with all my heart and chose this wonderful place as where I wanted to raise my family.

Many of you know me and realize my involvement in various organizations through-out the community.

I will be happy to discuss with any citizen issues or concerns they may have prior to or after the election.

I humbly ask for your vote on May 12th at the Groveton High School Auditorium. Don’t forget that early voting begins April 30th-May 8th at Groveton City Hall.
