The Shepherd Volunteer Fire Department will be hosting “National Night Out” on Tuesday, October 6, at 7:00 p.m. The event will be held at the Shepherd Community Center, 10251 SH 150.
In addition to the fire department, several organizations will be represented who will provide helpful information to the public.
All ages are welcome and identification kits will be available for children.
Shepherd’s “National Night Out” is sponsored by the Texas Forest Service and the Shepherd Volunteer Fire Department.
The event is a combined effort to help educate citizens on crime, safety, and the various types of resources that are available to them.
The SVFD requests that citizens mark their calendar’s and plan to attend “America’s Night Out Against Crime”.
