Liberty Mayor Carl Pickett recently announced that the popular “Hot Dogs and a Movie” will start-up again, beginning Saturday, March 31, in downtown Liberty.

The event was not held during the winter, but had grown so much that a group of donors purchased a 12 foot inflatable screen on which to show the family-oriented movies.

Everyone is encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy visiting prior to movie time. Hot dogs, pop corn and drinks are provided by volunteers at no charge. Everyone is invited to attend. Start-up time is approximately one hour before dark and the movie usually lasts no longer than 1 1/2 hours.
