Dayton VFD plans fund-raiser

The Dayton Volunteer Fire Department will hold their Annual Barbecue plate lunch sale on Saturday, June 30, from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. or until it’s all gone.
Plate lunches are $8.00 and include the following: Barbecue brisket, beans, green rice, pickles and onions, bread, and iced tea.
Beginning at 1:00 p.m. the Volunteer Fire Department will hold an auction. The list of donated items continues to grow and some really special items available for the highest bidder are anticipated, so bring your wallet.
The department will set up a drive-thru for the convenience of a fast pick-up.
