Vacation Bible School activities planned
Big Thicket Messenger - July 2007
Get ready for Game Day Central: Where Heroes Are Made. It will be a week of nonstop action as you learn what it means to join God’s team, get in the game by believing God’s plan for salvation, take action to serve others and recruit new team mates.
The stats will show that when you stay focused and keep your eyes on Jesus, you will become a true hero. It’s Vacation Bible School at Shepherd First Baptist Church, like you’ve never experienced before!
Children going into first through going into seventh grade are admitted free July 9-13, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. In this one-week season, you will hear play-by-play Bible stories, participate in successful crafts, warm up to motivating music, and eat snacks from the concession stand, and train in the recreation field house. Come join us!
A “Tailgate” party will be held on Saturday, July 7, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the church parking lot to help kick-off Vacation Bible School.
Free hot dogs, games, face painting, moonwalks, and more will be offered. Make your plans to join in the fun and register your children for Vacation Bible School.
