Playoffs begin
Big Thicket Messenger - November 2007

The second season of football begins this week as several of the Big Thicket area teams have achieved success throughout this year’s games.

On Thursday night, November 15, the Livingston Lions will face the Manor Mustangs and the West Hardin Oilers will vie to continue their quest when they play the West Sabine Tigers.

On Friday evening the Hull-Daisetta Bobcats will represent their district as they will play the Groveton Indians at Bearkat Stadium in Huntsville. The Dayton Broncos will go into the playoffs for their 12th consecutive year and will play their neighboring foe the Crosby Cougars. Last but not least, Coach Kenneth Haynes has led his Hardin Hornet team to a 8-2 record and they will play the Hemphill Hornets in Hemphill.

On Saturday, November 17, you can make the trek to Nacgodoches to support the Cleveland Indians who will play the Kirbyville Wildcats at 7:00 p.m.
