Four Tickets to Christmas…Set at the turn of the century, the captivating score blends ragtime, parlor music and even a barbershop quartet with a mix of traditional and new Christmas music, character songs and production numbers. This dramatic musical, presented by First Baptist Church in Livingston, with the theme of Celebrate Christmas 2007, is by Deborah Craig-Claar and Mark Hayes..
The performances will be held December 14-15 at 7:00 p.m. and December 16 at 6:00 p.m. at the Livingston High School auditorium.
The Broadway-style musical follows the escapades of an out-of-work family performing group who find themselves unexpectedly spending Christmas in a small rural town in Ohio. This is where the entire family learns the importance of following God’s unique direction for their lives.
By Christmas Eve, they’ve turned the town upside down and some of their own relations around. “
“It’s the Season of Beginnings”, and that includes beginning and restoring a relationship with the Savior whose birth is being celebrated.
Brimming with nostalgia, humor, poignant drama and a sterling score, Four Tickets to Christmas, is a feel good family musical that the entire family will enjoy.
