The Batson Oil Patch Festival is now accepting applications for th3 2008 Photo Contest that will be held on March 6th, 7th and 8th.
Categories will include; Landscape, People and Animals, Miscellaneous and Snapshots. Deadline for entries is March 6th at 3ö00 p.m.
A $3.00 donation will be required for the first photo with a $2.00 donation for each additional photo. Make checks payable to Batson Oil Patch Festival.
Photos may be color of black and white. All entries, except for snapshots, must be at least 5x7 and no larger than 11x14 and must be matted (poster board and construction paper are not acceptable). Snapshots may be mounted on poster board. Framed photos will not be accepted. The photographer’s name, address, telephone number and category must appear on the back of each entry. Photos will remain on display throughout the Festival. By entering the photo contest, exhibitor agrees not to remove any photo from display. Photos may be picked up beginning Monday, March 10, 2008. After March 31st unclaimed photos will be discarded. If a self-addressed stamped envelope is provided, photos can be returned. There is no limit to the number of entries. The Batson Oil Patch Festival Photo Contest is a family-oriented contest. All photos entered must be suitable for viewing by all. We reserve the right to reject any photo for any reason. The Festival is not responsible for damage, loss or deterioration of  any photos. By entering your photo(s), you are agreeing to these conditions.
Ribbons will be awarded for Best of Show and first, second and third places in each category. Snapshots will not compete for Best of Show. Photos may also be delivered to the West Hardin Senior Center between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
