Dayton woman assaulted

An early morning assault on Friday, March 23, 2007 resulted in a Dayton woman being transported by Life Flight to Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston.

The Dayton Police Department received a call at 3:28 a.m. on March 23 to find an incident at 1011 Glendale #19, of a woman stabbed multiple times. Her 5-month old daughter was found lying beside her dead.

Alicia Ross was reported still to be in critical condition at press time, but was expected to recover,

The Dayton Police Department will continue investigation into the matter.
