Riddie Bacon
WOODVILLE  --  Riddie Bacon, 86, of Woodville, passed away Friday, February 2, 2007 at Tyler County Hospital in Woodville.
Funeral services were held February 6, at the  First Baptist Church in Woodville with burial at Pine Grove Cemetery near Corrigan.  Brother Hials Taylor officiated.
He was born July 13, 1920 to Joe and Lola Matthews in Polk County.  She worked for the Corrigan School District in the Food Service Department for many years.  She loved her chuch and was a giving, compassionate and hard-working woman.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Cullen Rocka; son, Robert Rocka; granddaughter, Pam Rocka; second husband, Noah Bacon, Sr.; and son-in-law M.D. Holland.
She is survived by her daughter, Gracie Holland of Woodville; step-daughters, Earlene Capehart of Blair, Okla. and Janice Tullos and husband Thomas of Corrigan; step-sons Noah Bacon, Jr. and wife, Mary of Lufkin, Gene Bacon and wife, Melba of Diboll; seven grandchildren;, Ty Phillips, Glen Rocka, T.J. Tullos, Noah Tullos, Allen Bacon, Paula Whitworth and Shelley Grubbs; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Woodville, 205 West Wheat, Woodville, TX 75979.
Services were under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Woodville.

Martha Laverne Hall Bray
CORRIGAN      --  Funeral services for Martha L. Hall Bray, 55, of Moscow will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 10, 2007, in the Shiloh United Methodist Church in Moscow with Rev. Robert Twine and Rev. Earl Whitaker officiating.  Interment will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery in Moscow.  A wake is scheduled for Friday night, February 9, 2007.
She was born May 19, 1951 in Corrigan and passed away Friday, February 2, 2007 in Houston.  She was a member of the Shiloh United Methodist Church in Moscow.  She was involved in the Corrigan Community Action, and she participated in local prayer and Bible groups.  She also served as a Democratic election judge.
She is survived by her father, Reuben Hall, Sr. of Moscow; sons and daughters-in-law, Roosevelt and Denisia Jolly III of Lufkin, Jonathan and Audrea Jolly, Sr. of Lufkin, Allen Bray of Lufkin; daughters, Cynthia Jolly of Diboll, Marquitra Alexander of Lufkin; brother, Greene E. Hall of Moscow; sister and brother-in-law, LuAnne and John Franklin of Livingston; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
