William McCreadie, 88, of Warren, passed away, Friday, August 12, 2011 at Tyler County Hospital in Woodville, Texas. Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 16 at 9:00 a.m. at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home Chapel in Woodville followed by a 2:30 p.m. military graveside service at Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas. Officiating was Brother Paul Williams. Visitation was held on Monday, August 15 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. William was born July 20, 1923 to John & Florence Mc- Creadie in Crystal Springs, Florida. He was a longtime resident of Tyler County and was a retired auto mechanic. He was a U.S. Army WII veteran. He landed on the beach at Normandy, fought in the Battle of the Bulge and in the Argonne Forest through to Belgium. At the end of the war, he was serving in Czechoslovakia. He was a recepient of 5 Bronze Stars. He is survived by special friends, Art & Rhonda Hall of Warren and numerous others. Services were under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Woodville.
Ernst Udet Pinckert, 77, of Woodville passed away peacef u l l y o n A u g u s t 1 4 , 2011. Born F e b r u a r y 2 0 , 1 9 3 4 i n Dimm i t t , Texas to the late Ovid and Ovilla Hines Pinckert, he lived in Woodville for a short time. He served in the U. S. Air Force from July 1952 to July1 1956 where he was an electronics instructor and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and the Air Force Good Conduct Medal. He graduated from Arizona State University and retired from the Honeywell Corporation as a software instructor. He was a loving father, grandfather, and brother. He was preceded in death by his parents, the love of his life, his wife of 54 years, Eva Linda Davidson Pinckert in September 2005, a son, Clinton Udet Pinckert in October 2008, a grandson, Paul Douglas Reid and a brother, Harold “Bud” Pinckert. Ernst is survived by his loving family, daughter, Paulien Pinckert Reid of Woodville; brother, Frank Ovid Pinckert of Carlsbad, NM; grandchildren, Clinton Udet Pinckert, Jr. of Beckley, West Virginia, William Edward Reid of Ernst Pinckert Houston and Frances Reid Ballew of Woodville; and a great grandchild, Isabella Katherine Ballew. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation service was held under the direction of Riley Funeral Home of Tyler County.
Thomas Frank Bradley, 67, of Warren, passed away, Thursday, August 11, 2011 at Woodville Health & Rehab Center in Woodville, Texas. Funeral services were held Sunday, August 14 at 3:00 p.m. at the Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home Chapel in Woodville with burial in Fellowship Cemetery in Warren. Officiating was Brother Jimbo Swinney. Serving as pallbearers were Jesse Hays, Chance Sims, Tony Keeler, Robert Holcomb, Arnold Huerta and Bobby Strange. Honorary pallbearers were Clifford Castilaw and Forest Groves. Visitation was held on Saturday, August 13 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Thomas was born August 1, 1944 to Eric & Irene Williams Bradley in Port Arthur, Texas. He was a former resident of Vidor and had lived in Warren for the past 14 years. He had worked for many year in the petrochemical industry and then for Warren I.S.D. in maintenance. He enjoyed all things outdoors and took great pride in being able to help people. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eric & Irene Williams Bradley. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Linda Bradley of Warren; sons, Shane Patrick Bradley of Beaumont and Blake Bradley & wife, Alisha of Vidor; granddaughter, Baylie Bradley; and his constant companion, his dog, Hero. Memorials may be made to charity of choice. Services were under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Woodville.
Funeral services for Evelyn Pyle, 85, of Corrigan, Texas were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2011 in the Corrigan Funeral Home Chapel in Corr i g a n , T e x a s with Bro. Visitation was held from 6 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2011 in the Corrigan Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Pyle was born December 3, 1925 in Corrigan, Texas and passed away Sunday, July 24, 2011 in Lufkin, Texas. She was a member of the Union Springs Missionary Baptist Church and was a homemaker most of her life. She proudly served her country during WW II in the United States Army. She was preceded in death by her husband: George Hamilton Pyle; parents: Archie Loving and Hattie (Sage) Loving; brother: Billy Archie Loving; sisters: Hester Beaty, Edith Purvis, Mary Lee Tullos, Marguerite Rittman and Bertha Loving. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: George and Terri Pyle of Woodville, Texas; daughters: Joann Neal of Corrigan, Texas, Sandra Billeaudeaux of Princeton, Texas; grandchildren: Jason and Missy King, Jana and Shawn Bouse, Jody Billeaudeaux, Steven Wadlington, Trevor Bardeman, Tyler Bardeman; 4 great grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. Pallbearers: Jason King, Thomas Tullos, Jody Billeaudeaux, Billy Scoggins and George Pyle.
Grace File Gardner, 109, of Woodville passed away peacefully on July 29, 2 0 1 1 at the Baptist Hospit a l i n B e a u m o n t , Texas. B o r n S e p tember 6, 1901 in Hamshire, Texas to Frank and Evia File Crowley, she was the oldest of seven children who preceded her in death. She was a devoted legal secretary for Clyde Earl Smith, Jr. where she touched the lives of many people. Grace was a member of Our Lady of the Pines Catholic Church in Woodville, Tx. Grace was preceded in death by her parents, six siblings and husband, H. E. Gardner. She is survived by her loving daughter, Iris Gardner Chenault of Woodville; stepdaughter, Mary Lee Gibson of Plano, Tx; step granddaughters, Linda Stoner, Ann Willis and Cindy Willis all of California; special adopted daughter, Betty Winters of Woodville; nephews, Paul Cochran of Dallas, Rusty Crowley and wife, June of San Antonio, John Wm. Andrus and wife, Ann of Los Angeles, CA and Russell and Jack York of Texas; niece, Beverly Blanchard of Nederland; numerous other family members and friends. Funeral Mass was held Wednesday, August 3, 2011, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Pines Catholic Church in Woodville with Father Egidio Vecchio officiating. Burial followed at the Magnolia Cemetery in Woodville. Visitation was held Tuesday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. with a Rosary cited at 7 p.m. Services were under the direction of Riley Funeral Home of Tyler County.

Juanita Richardson, 90, of Woodville passed away Sunday, July 31, 2011, at the Tyler County Hospital. Juanita was born Ma r c h 11, 1921 in Chester, Texas to J. H. Durham and Elba Howard D u r - ham. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Woodville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Richardson; grandson, Jeffrey Frank Richardson and sisters, Viola Oberg and Roberta Turner. Survivors include her daughters, Janice Weatherford and husband, Bill; Kathy Roberts and husband, Mike, all of Woodville; son, Stanley Frank Richardson and wife, Wilma of Ben Wheeler; grandchildren, Bryan Weatherford, Brad Weatherford and wife, Kim, Pam McGough and husband Jay, Jill Pate and husband, Darion and Tiffany Richardson; fourteen great grandchildren and three great, great grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers were her grandsons and great grandsons, Bryan and Brad Weatherford, Zaccary and Tyler Bryan Weatherford, Korbin and Collin Pate and Reid McGough. Services were held Wednesday, August 3, 2011, at 2 p.m. at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Ross Shelton officiating. Burial followed at the Magnolia Cemetery in Woodville.
