Dorris Geanne Lindahl 
Dorris Geanne Lindahl, 67, of Woodville passed away unto her Lord on December 5, 2007.
  Born August 15, 1940 in San Augustine, Tx to Edward and Beatrice Gibson Adams, she lived in Tyler County for many years.  She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to all.  She was a member of the Woodville Church of Christ.
  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Stanley S. Lindahl, sister, Donna Young, and brother-in-law, Frank Mayer.
  Mrs. Lindahl is survived by her sons, Stanley William Lindahl of Texas City and David Franke of Tulasa, Ok; daughters, Darla Cowett and Cassie Jamison and husband, Phillip all of Woodville; sisters, Beverly Russell and husband, Ray of Woodville, Dianne Bane and husband, Geary of Conroe, Alice “Dolly” Adams and Nancy Mayer both of Warren; brother, James Adams and wife, Rita of Oregon; thirteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
  A memorial service was held Saturday, December 5, 2007, at 2 p.m. at the Woodville Church of Christ with Brother Keith Bellamy officiating.

            Services were held under the direction of Riley Funeral Home of Tyler County.

Marvin Vernon Dominy
  Funeral services for Marvin Vernon Dominy, 79, of Zavalla will be 10:00 A. M. Friday, December 7, 2007 at The Church OnThe Hill in Zavalla with burial to follow at Zavalla Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday, December 6, 2007 beginning at 6:00 P. M. until 8:00 P.M. at the church.
  Mr. Dominy died Monday, December 3, 2007 at U.T.M.B. in Galveston. A native of Colmesneil, he was a longtime resident of Zavalla.  He retired from Dresser Industries after twenty years.
  Survivors include his son, Rusty Dominy & wife Terri of Zavalla, daughter Derdia Cross & husband David of Lufkin, brother, L. B. Dominy of Lufkin, sister, Irene Stinson of Vidor, eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Edith of over 35 years and a son, Danny Joe Dominy.
 Memorials may be made to The Church On The Hill in Zavalla, Texas.
 Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral home of Jasper.

Marcalene 'Marsha' Byerly Few
  Marcalene “Marsha” Byerly Few, 75, of Jasper, died at Dickerson Memorial Hospital Sunday, December 9,  2007.
  A native of San Augustine, she was a lifelong resident of Jasper, an employee of the Timberlake Health and Rehabilitation Center as a Medication Nurse from 1976 until retirement in 2006. Marsha was a member of the Jasper Chapter Order of the Eastern Star.
  Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Dec. 11 at 2 p.m. at Forest Oaks Chapel. Interment followed at the Evergreen Cemetery in Jasper. Visitation was held at Forest Oaks Funeral Home on Monday, Dec. 10 from 4 until 9 p.m.
  Survivors include a son, Jim Byerly of Jasper; daughters, Cathy Smith of Colmesneil and Linda Diane Broach of Jasper; sister, Alice “Dimple” Cunningham of Roganville; grandchildren, Marsha, Angela, Jennifer, Jamie, Laurie, Ashleigh, Jamie, Marshall and Tim.
  She was predeceased by a grandson, Joe Broach.

Roberta C. Boyd

  Roberta C. Boyd passed away on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007 in Killeen. She was 83 years old.
  She was a native of Woodville. She was born to Viola and Amos McAlister on March 16, 1924.
  She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Travis and Angie Boyd of Killeen; two daughters and son-in-laws, Pat Predgo and Bill Predgo of Killeen; Roxcy and Shan Cardoza of Killeen; two sisters and brother-in-laws, Robert and Gay Carl of Woodville; Tom and Ruth Carter of Woodville; a number of relatives and friends.
            Services were held Dec. 4 at 10 a.m. at Haper-Talasek Funeral Home. Reverend Darlene Grant officiated. Interment followed at Killeen City Cemetery.

William H. O’Dell
    William H. O’Dell, 79, of Woodville passed away peacefully on December 7, 2007.
  Born September 21, 1928 in Necdah, Wisconsin to William and Sylvia Burlingame O’Dell, he lived in Port Arthur for 23 years before moving to the Town Bluff area.  He was a retired Seaman for National Mart Union with 30 years of service.  He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish with his wife.
  He was preceded in death by a step son, Samuel Larry Lovett.
  Mr. O’Dell is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis Thompson O’Dell of Town Bluff; step daughter and son-in-law, Sherrie and Jeff Hardesty; step-grandchildren, John Johnson and Mykil Hardesty; and one step great grandchild, Caid Chenoweth.
  Funeral service was held Monday, December 10, 2007, at 2 p.m. at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with his son-in-law, Jeff Hardesty, officiating.  Burial followed at Fairview Cemetery in Town Bluff.

Ernest Leo 'Red' Werner
 Ernest Leo “Red” Werner, 86, of Warren passed away peacefully on December 8, 2007 at his residence surrounded by his loved ones.
  Born May 10, 1921 in Dayton, Texas to Albert and Elmis Jacob Werner, Sr., he lived in Warren for the past 41 years.  He was retired from Gerber Baby Foods as a factory representative with 23 years of service and from the Texas Forest Service with 16 years of service.  He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and has served as a Baptist Deacon for over 50 years.  He was a World War II Army Veteran and received the Purple Heart.
  He was preceded in death by his parents, sons, Robert and David Lee Werner, great, great grandson, Tanner Burns, step grandsons, Billy Wayne and Paul Tucker; six brothers and one sister.
  Mr. Werner is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Norma F. Patton Werner; daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Floyd Burns of Warren; son, John Alan Werner of Warren; grandchildren, Rhonda Lynn Gilchrist of Woodville, Ronald Lee Burns of Warren, J. Daniel Burns of Warren, Kevin M. Burns of Orangefield, Jason Werner of Bangor, Maine, Kimberly Moore of Jasper, Kristalyn Werner of Warren, Devin Werner of Warren, Heather Nicole Werner of Warren; great grandchildren, Shane Burns, Justin Burns, Miranda Gilchrist, Tarah Burns, John Scott Gilchrist, Brandon Burns, Kristen Conley Burns, Lyndsay Burns, Michael and Nicholas Werner and Skylar Moore; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
  Funeral service was held Tuesday, December 11, 2007, at 11 a.m. at the Bethel Baptist Church in Warren with Brother Randall Pike officiating.  A graveside service was held at 2:30 p.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Beaumont.  Visitation was held Monday evening at the funeral home.
  Serving as pallbearers were Wayne E. Werner, Darrell Werner, Jason Werner, Ronald Burns, J. Daniel Burns and Kevin Burns.  Serving as honorary pallbearers were the Deacons of Bethel Baptist Church.
            Services were held under the direction of Riley Funeral Home of Tyler County.

Beatrice 'Bea' Stafford Mitcham
     Beatrice “Bea” Stafford Mitcham, 60, of Woodville passed away peacefully unto her Lord on December 6, 2007 at her Residence.
  Born December 17, 1946 in Woodville to H. A. and Mary Jane McNeil Stafford, she lived her entire life in Tyler County.  She and her husband, Roy, owned and operated M&M Grocery and Western Wear in Woodville.  Bea and Roy traveled thru out the United States and over seas where they met many people who over the years have become to be called friends.  For the last several years, Bea and Roy owned and operated the “Corndog Stand” and traveled to many fairs enjoying the many cultures they encountered.
  She was preceded in death by her father, H.A. Stafford, brother Albert Lewis (BO) Stafford and her Son, Jerry (Toe Joe) Mitcham
  She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years William Roy Mitcham of Woodville, son, William Terry Mitcham of Woodville, mother Janie Stafford of Woodville, sister, Bobby McCollum of Warren and brother, Randy Stafford of Woodville, grandchildren, Heather Nicole Mitcham of Lake Charles, Ashley Taryn Mitcham of Zavalla and William Kent Mitcham of Colmesneil, numerous nieces and nephews.
  Funeral services were held Sunday, December 9, 2007, at 2 P.M. at Riley Funeral Home Chapel in Woodville with Sister Hazel Rumby and Brother R. C. Tillery officiating.  Burial followed at Shady Grove Cemetery in Woodville, Texas. Visitation was held Saturday from 4 P.M. until 9 P.M. at the Funeral home.
  Serving as pallbearers were Johnny Mitcham, Lawrence Upchurch, Tom McClure, Ron Keef, Kent Dickens, T. J. Odom and Timmy Joe McCollum.

Thelma Bodine
  Thelma Bodine, 95, of Woodville, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2007 at Dogwood Trails Manor Nursing Home in Woodville, Texas.
  Graveside services were held Friday, December 7th at 1:00 p.m. at the Allison Cemetery near Warren.  Officiating was Brother Kenneth Cauthen.
  Thelma was born January 4, 1912 to Sam J. & Maude Jones Cameron in Emory, Texas.  She was a longtime resident of Tyler County and was a member of First Baptist Church of Warren.
  She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Efton Bodine; son, Jack Bodine and her grandson, Mark Bodine.  She is survived by her daughter-in-law, June R. Bodine of Port Neches; sister, Grace Fillman of Dallas; grandchildren, Scott Bodine and Patrick Bodine and numerous great grandchildren.
            Services were under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Woodville.
