Tharon R. Hester
  Our beloved Tharon R. Hester, resident of Kerrville, was called by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, June 28, 2008.  Tharon was born September 23, 1967 in Nederland, Texas to Milton “Sonny” and Lynn Hester.  He was a loving Son, Father, Brother and good friend.  He was a member of the Calvary Temple Church in Kerrville, TX.
  Proceeded in death by his father Milton “Sonny” Hester in 1976, grandparent Henry and Ozelle Lachausse and grandson Santos Salinas Jr. 
  Survived by his beloved mother Lynn (Lachausse) Reid and Tommy; wife Misty (Goshen) Hester; his loving children, Ashley Hester, Tharon Hester Jr, Milton "Sonny" Hester, Julie Segura, Gladys Segura; grandchildren Markus Uballe, Natalie Carmona, Breonuh Milam and Delilah Carmona (due in August); brother Thad Hester of Austin; sister Tesa Delemater and husband Dean of Elgin, TX; aunts, uncles, many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members and friends who love him and will miss him.

Connie A. Beaubouef        
  Connie A. Beaubouef, 66, of Vidor, passed away Monday, June 30, 2008 at her home. She had previously resided in Spurger.
  She was born March 22, 1942 in Beaumont to Marvin and Dorothy Richard.
  Survivors include her husband, David Beaubouef; one son, Jeff Davis Beaubouef, Jr.; three sisters; 5 grandchildren; and 5 great, grandchildren.
  Mrs. Beaubouef was preceded in death by two daughters, Denise Beaubouef and Candy Gray; and two brothers, William Richard and David Richard.
  Graveside services were held Thursday, July 3 at 10 a.m. at Restlawn Memorial Cemetery in Vidor. Brother Doyle Butcher officiated.
  Services were under the direction of Vidor Memorial.

 Dina Carroll Tippit
  Dina Carroll Tippit, 47, of Colmesneil, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2008 in Colmesneil, Texas.
  She was born December 29, 1960 to Fletcher & Wanda "Genie" Kirkland Pickens in Woodville, Texas.  She was formerly of Albany, Texas and was a longtime resident of Colmesneil.  She was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.
  Dina was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Tippit; parents, Fletcher & Genie Pickens and her brother, Radie Pickens.  She is survived by her son, Gatlin Tippit of Abilene; daughter, Remy Tippit of Colmesneil; sisters & brothers-in-law, Tina Long of Longview, Gina & Paul May of Colmesneil, Rina & Marty Richey of Pinson, AL and Wanda & Phil Ryan of Colmesneil; and her grandson, Luke Tippit of Abilene.
 Cremation services were under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Woodville.

Hazel Feller Machen
 Hazel Feller Machen got her independence this July 4, 2008 from her worldly body and now she can see, hear and walk the halls of heaven.  Please rejoice for her.
  Preceded in death by her husband, Gene Machen, 3 sisters and 4 brothers, she is survived by her daughter, Ellen L. Mickle of Woodville, TX; sister, Lura Heck of Milwaukee, WI, brothers, Verlon Feller and wife, Millie of Holly Lake, TX and Carl Feller and wife, Patsy of Salado, Tx and many nieces, nephews and friends.
  Gene and Hazel lived in Los Fresnos, TX for well over 50 years.  She was very active in the First Baptist Church of Los Fresnos, the community and was willing to go the extra mile for her friends and neighbors.
  When she lost Gene in 1998, she came to live with her daughter, Ellen and joined the First Baptist Church here but failing health prohibited her participation in church activities.
  A short grave side service will be held at the Sandia Cemetery in Sandia, TX on Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at 11 a.m. where she will be laid to rest with Gene.
  In lieu of flowers, a memorial can be made to the Tyler County Hospital Foundation, 1100 West Bluff, Woodville, Texas 75979.
            Services were held under the direction of Riley Funeral Home of Tyler County.
