Frances Nell Heitmann  
  Frances Nell Heitmann, age 58, passed away at the Cleveland Regional Medical Center, Saturday, June 14, 2008. Mrs. Heitmann lived in Onalaska, Texas.
  Mrs. Heitmann was born in Texas City, Texas, October 22, 1949 to Powell and Erin Stroman Caudle, whom precede her in death.  She worked for NASA on computers and loved to read and work with her flowers.
  Her survivors are her former husband, John R. Heitmann and many friends.
  Pace Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mildred Minta Dean Street         
  Mildred Minta Dean Street, 83, of Spurger died Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at St. Elizabeth after a short illness.
  Born July 1, 1924 in Woodville to the late Fred and Essie Best Dean, she was a life long resident of Tyler County. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew and loved her. She was a member of the Spurger United Methodist Church.
  She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bernice and Mary Mott of Bastrop; daughters and son-in-law, Brenda and Raymond Lankford of Spurger and Sue Street Wisdom of Irving; sister, Glenda Frizzell of Spurger; brothers, Robert Ed Dean of Vidor and Jimmy Dean of Woodville; nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
  Funeral service was held Friday, June 20 at 10:30 a.m. at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Vickie Simons officiating. Burial followed at Antioch Cemetery in Woodville. Visitation was held Thursday evening at the funeral home.
  Serving as pallbearers were George R. Lankford, III, Michael Stuntz, Joe Collins, Larry Hatfield, Danny Roberts and Johnny Frizzell.

            Services were held under the direction of Riley Funeral Home of Tyler County.

Donna Deanne White 
  Donna Deanne White, 82, of Beaumont passed away June 21, 2008 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.
  Born September 1, 1924 in Hume, Ill to the late Theodore and Juanita Axton Quillen, she lived in Beaumont most of her life.  She was a retired credit manager for Dallas Williams Furniture and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Beaumont.
  She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Judi and Bo Dollinger of Warren; grandchildren, Mike Dollinger of Kountze, Snuffy Dollinger of Newton and Shane and Robyn Dollinger of Vidor; great grandchildren, Ryan Dollinger of Fred, Amber Dollinger and Holly Dollinger both of Kountze and Gabrielle Dollinger and Jared Dollinger both of Vidor; sisters, Martha Hance and Thelma Christ both of Illinois.
  Funeral service was held Tuesday, June 24, 2008, at 10 a.m. at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Rocky officiating.  A 1 p.m. grave side service was at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Beaumont.  Visitation was held Monday evening at the funeral home.
  Serving as pallbearers were members of her family.
  Services were entrusted to Riley Funeral Home of Tyler County.

Jessie Jeanette Winters
  Jessie Jeanette Winters, 63, of Silsbee, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at Trinity Rehabilitation & Retirement Center in San Augustine, Texas.
  Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 21st at 11:00 a.m. at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home Chapel in Woodville with burial in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.  Officiating was Brother Billy Pierson.  Serving as pallbearers were Ralph Winters, Richard Winters, James Nash, Billy Jack McClelland, James McClelland, Billy Ward and Thomas Pierson.
  Visitation was held on Friday, June 20th from 5 to p.m. at the funeral home.
  Jessie was born October 16, 1944 to Artie Curtis Winters & Fordie Lee Woodward in Colmesneil, Texas.  She was a retired chef and lifelong resident of Tyler County.
  Jessie was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. A.C. Winters; brother, Robert Winters; sisters, Margrette Givens, Dale Winters, Penny Garabedian & Estelle Abbott.  She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, James Glen & Stacey Winters of Whitehall, NY; brothers and sisters-in-law, Art Winters & Debie of Lovelady, J.T. & Barbara Winters of Woodville, Earl & Marie Winters of Colmesneil, Albert & Dottie Winters of Crockett, Paul & Eva Winters of Houston; sisters & brothers-in-law, Florence & Imre Mozes of Warren, Geneva Winters of Silsbee and Deborah & Jimmy Powell of Onalaska and the "apple of her eye" grandson, Jarod Winters of Whitehall, NY.
            Services were under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Woodville.

Phillip 'Pete' King          
  Phillip “Pete” King, 76, of Spurger, passed away Monday, June 16, 2008, at his home.
  Funeral services were held Thursday, June 19 at 10 a.m. at Forest Oaks Chapel. Interment followed at Davis Cemetery in Beulah Springs. Visitation was held Wednesday, June 18 from 1 to 8 p.m. at Forest Oaks Funeral Home in Jasper.
  Mr. King was a native of Bronson, and was a resident of Orangefield and a longtime resident of Tyler County. He enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting.
  His survivors include his wife, Jerry King of Spurger; sons, Lonnie and Judy King of Magnolia Springs, Maion and Vickie King of Kirbyville, Lindell Gene King of Warren, Claude and Gloria King of Spurger, and Larry and Dora King of Kirbyville; daughters, Sheila and Ricky Evans of Mauriceville, Phylis and Clennon Moncrief of Lufkin and Sharon Bradford of Buna; brother, William King of Silsbee; sisters, Inez Williams of Kirbyville, Nora Victory of Kirbyville, Nelda Linda and Robert Brown of Moody; 56 grandchildren, 58 great grandchildren and 4 great, great grandchildren.
  Services were under the direction of Forest Oaks Funeral Home of Jasper.
