Geraldine 'Jerry' Miller
Geraldine “Jerry” Miller died Wednesday afternoon, March 12, 2008, after 88 years of a full life as wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and loving friend to many.
She was born July 15, 1919 in Princeton, Texas to Susan Elizabeth and Elmer A. Bagwill. After the death of her Mother in 1928, Grady and Leona Jones adopted her. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Joseph and Johnnie Ray, her son, Jim Hensley and her husbands L. L. Hensley and Clay Miller.
Her life took her from Ft. Worth to Woodville, Texas. From Woodville to Winters, Texas and ultimately she settled in Teague, Texas.
She loved and was loved by many. Those who survive her will miss her, but each will have at least one special memory of a shared time or place or laugh or tear and in that way she will be forever.
Mrs. Miller was a Baptist and attended Eighth Avenue Baptist Church in Teague.
She is survived by two daughters, Darla Schwartz & husband Mike of Teague and Linda Hughes of Arlington; four grandchildren “Her most special children”, Jason Graves & wife Leslie of Waco, Dacia Reyes & husband Richard of Murphy, Allen Hensley & wife Cindy of Waco, and Shelly Hensley of Waco; eight great-grandchildren “Her most special of the most special children”, Taylor & Braden Graves, Courtney, Julia, & Sophie Reyes, and David Allen, Michelle, & Katlin Hensley; one brother, Paul Bagwill of Princeton; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
There are no services planned at this time.

Anita Eason Sturrock
Services for Anita Eason Sturrock, 47, of Dam B was held Monday, March 17, 2008 at Fred Community Cemetery in Fred.
Mrs. Sturrock died Thursday, March 13 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
A native of Kountze, Anita was a longtime resident of the Fred and Silsbee area. She was a caregiver.
Survivors include her daughter, Amber Sturrock of Woodville; son, Nicolas Sturrock of Woodville; sisters, Kathleen Rogers of San Antonio, Charlene Smith of Burkeville, Brenda Robinett of Raywood and Barbara Eason and Juanita Loftin both of Dam B; brothers, John Eason and Calvin Eason both of Fred and Frank Eason of Spurger; grandchildren, Madison Nicole McGinty and Haylee Brooke McGinty.
Services for Brother Emery Waddell, 74, of Longview was held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 14, 2008 at the Carraway-Claybar Funeral Home in Huntington with Rev. Eddie Marsh officiating. Burial followed at 2 p.m. in the Holland Cemetery near Kountze. Visitation was held Thursday, March 13 at Rader Funeral Home, 1617 Judson Rd. from 6 – 8 p.m. Brother Waddell died Wednesday, March 12 at a local medical center.
He was born Oct. 23, 1933 in Village Mills to Ira Brack and Hester Green Waddell. A former resident of Huntington, he had resided in Longview for three years. For many years, he served as a minister for Missionary Baptist Churches in a number of locations. He was actively involved with the Hiway 80 Rescue Mission in Longview and had directed many jail and prison ministries over the years. He was also retired from Lufkin Industries.
He is survived by a daughter, Charlotte Martin of Crockett; son, Melvin Waddell of Crockett; son and daughter-in-law, James and Kimberly Waddell of Longview; daughter and son-in-law, Lois and Chad Mueller of Wylie; grandchildren, Tomas Lee Trevino and wife, Jeana, Michael Jance Trevino, Eric D’Wayne Cook and wife, Jennifer, Emma Waddell, Julie Waddell and Lilly Waddell; great grandchildren, River James, Ocean Briana, Cameron Lee, Tommy Lee, Ethan and Timothy; brother and sister-in-law, Briant and Sadie Waddell of Henderson; sister-in-law, Ida Waddell of Waxahachie.

Services were under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
