Levina Etta Ross
  Levina Etta Ross, 80, of Rockland passed away February 26, 2007 at her residence.
  Born September 27, 1926 in Colmesneil to the late Henry and Janie Creel Reid, she lived in Tyler County all of her life.  She was a loving mother, grandmother sister and a member of Rocky Springs Baptist Church.
  She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Grover Cleveland Ross; daughters, Mary J. Bethke of Colmesneil and Shirley Johnson of Vidor; son, Grover Ray Ross of Rockland; sisters, Ruth Morris and Marie Sheffield both of Zavalla; ten grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
  Funeral service was held Thursday, March 1, 2007, at 2 p.m. at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Swain Barker and Brother Milton Powers officiating. Burial followed at Gregory Cemetery near Colmesneil. Visitation was held Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
  Serving as pallbearers were Steve Ferguson, Jeff Mashaw, Isaac Powell, James Minter, Roger Riley and Jimmy Nugent.
  Honorary pallbearers were Bobby Scoffield and Arnold Bethke.
            Services were held under the direction of Riley Funeral Home of Tyler County.

Steve Anson Gibbs
  Steve Anson 'The Fisherman' Gibbs, 47, of Woodville, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at Hermann Memorial Hospital in Houston, Texas.
  Funeral services were held Saturday, March 3 at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Warren with buri al in Fellowship Cemetery near Warren. Officiating  was Brother Jimbo Swinney. Serving as pallbearers were: James Gibbs, Jason Gibbs, William Seale, Louis Gibbs, Craig Dunn, Darrick Gibbs, Tim Furay and Conrad Scoggins. Honorary pallbearers were Brother Mark Martin, Mike Pate, Walter O’Neal and Bud Jones
  Visitation was held on Friday, March 2nd from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
  Steve was born August 10, 1959 to Louis & Marylyn Scoggins Gibbs in Kountze, Texas.  He was a former resident of Mt. Pleasant and had lived in Tyler County for the past fourteen years. He was the food service director for Warren Independent School District
  He is survived by his wife, Debbie Gibbs of Woodville; sons & fiance, Jason Gibbs & Ashley Templer both of Spring and James Gibbs of Woodville; daughter, Marilyn Gibbs of Woodville; parents, Louis & Marylyn Gibbs of Midland; brother & sister-in-law, Darrick & Moon Hee Gibbs of Modesto, CA;  a host of aunts, uncles and other extended family and friends.
  The family would like to extend a special thanks to William Seale and Dr. Geeta & Steve Singh.

Natalie Rose Kozma
  Natalie Rose Kozma was born and passed away on February 27, 2007 at Christus Jasper Memorial Hospital.
  Graveside services were held on Saturday, March 3 at 2 p.m. at the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Woodville.
  She is survived by her parents, James William Kozma and Ashley Rose Wells of Woodville; grandparents, Bill & Veronica Kozma and Albert "Skeeter" & Darleen Wells; great grandparents, Paul & Cynde Winter, Jim & Ophie Byers, Bill Kozma, Sr. and Lina Cadelina; uncles, James Wells and Michael Logan; aunts, Halee Rose Kozma; great uncles, Damon Domke and Wesley Neville and great aunt, Lauren Neville.
            Services were under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Woodville.

George Thomas Winters
  George Thomas Winters, 70, of Colmesneil, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2007 at his residence.
  Funeral services were Tuesday, February 27th at 10 a.m. at the Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home Chapel in Woodville with burial in Egypt Cemetery near Colmesneil. Officiaing was Brother John Spanhanks.
  Serving as pallbearers were Gerry Grubbs, Sherman Winters, Kenneth Placker, Mark Pipes, Jimmy Sutton, J.T. Winters, Earl Winters and Obie Fortenberry.
  Visitation was held on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
  George was born July 25, 1936 to Sherman & Addie Lavinia Winfrey Winters in Woodville, Texas. He was a lifelong resident of Tyler County and was a retired self-employed logger.
  He was preceded in death by his wife, Maude Evelyn Winters on August 4, 2003.  He is survived by his sons & daughters-in-law, George Thomas, Jr.”Tommy” & Mary Winters and Mark & Theresa Winters all of Colmesneil; daughters & sons-in-law, Sherrie & Euger Deets of Silsbee, Brenda & Barry Kaplan of Houston and Pam Broom of Woodville; sisters, Merlene Fortenberry, Lillian Wigley and Betty Jane Odom all of Woodville and Lena Mashaw of Angleton; thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
  Services were under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Woodville.
