Robert Allen 'Tweet' Wheeler
      Robert Allen "Tweet" Wheeler, 51, of Hillister died Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at his residence.  Allen was born in Kountze on August 12, 1956 to John and Ruby (Bobbitt) Wheeler. He was a resident of the Warren/Hillister area for the last twenty years and was a pipefitter.
      He is survived by his wife of thirty years, Janet Wheeler of Hillister; daughters, Stacy Hopkins and husband Gary of Evadale, Lee Ann Wheeler of Hillister, and Angela Horne and husband Daniel of Beufort, South Carolina; grandchildren, Nolan Wheeler, Jayda Hopkins, Heidi Hopkins, Heather Hopkins, Kade Overstreet, Kenasyn Overstreet, Briley Horne, Autumn Sims, and Chace Sims; sister, Hula Cowart of Warren, brother, Richard Wheeler and wife Nola of Evadale; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Edwin "Tweet" Wheeler and Ruby Christine "Duck" Wheeler; father and mother-in-law, Harry Lee and Velma Castilaw; and two brothers, Bubba Wheeler and Jimmy Wheeler.
      A Service of Celebration was held  2 p.m.. Monday, November 5, 2007 at Broussard's, 530 W. Monroe, Kountze with Reverend Chance Sims officiating.  Burial will follow at Village Mills Cemetery in Village Mills.  A gathering of family and friends was held  Sunday, November 4, 2007 from 5  until 9 p.m. at the mortuary.

Theresa Ann Bergeron
      Theresa Ann Bergeron, 52, of Spurger passed away October 26, 2007.
      Born November 16, 1954 in Baton Rouge, LA to Joseph and Beatrice Forest Bergeron, she lived most of her life in Baton Rouge before moving to Spurger in 1990.  She was self employed tax processor.  She was a loving mother and grandmother and was loved by all who knew her.
      She is survived by her sons, Shaun Bergeron of Arkansas and Kyle Gore of Spurger; grandchildren, Aaron, Skyler, Tyler and Harleigh Bergeron; sisters, Iris Peterson of Spurger and Lorie Hebert of Brusly, LA; brother, Joseph "Paul" Bergeron of Dana, IL and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
      A graveside service was held Tuesday, October 30, 2007, at 3 p.m. at the Turner Branch Cemetery in Spurger with Brother Paul Boughan officiating.

      Services were held under the direction of Riley Funeral Home of Tyler County.

Dorothy Bell Hughes Martin
      Dorothy Bell Hughes Martin, 70, of Doucette passed away peacefully on November 5, 2007.
 Born January 7, 1937 in Warren, Ark. to James Lee and Mary Vining Polk, she lived in Tyler County most of her life.  She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew her.
 She was preceded in death by her parents, former husband, Frank Hughes, Sr. and a son, Timmy Wayne Hughes.
 She is survived by her husband, Steven Martin; sons and daughters-in-law, Frank Wade and Louise Hughes, Jr. of Doucette and Robert Allen and Karen Hughes, Sr. of Colmesneil; daughter, Melissa Means of Warren, Ark.; daughter-in-law, Melinda Hughes of Kountze; brother, Dale Henson and wife, Carolyn of Rockdale and Thomas Henson of Rockdale; sister, Martha Lee of Dallas; seven grandsons, four granddaughters and three great granddaughters.
 A graveside service was held Tuesday, November 6, 2007, at 3 p.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church Cemetery.  Visitation was held Tuesday at the funeral home.
