Chester Odom
Funeral services for Chester, Odom, 64, of Overton were held 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Kilgore with Reverend Atwell Hankins officiating. Burial followed at Hickory Grove Cemetery. Mr. Odom passed away Wednesday, Sept. 26 in a Longview hospital.
  Chester was born April 9, 1943 in Fred, Texas son of the late Lois and Oddis Mae Odom. Odom enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his family. He worked from many years for Reliable Contractors now known as 4K Lease Services.
            Odom is survived by his wife Sue Odom of Overton; sons, Thomas Baughman and wife Deronda of Kilgore, Donny Dennis and wife Cynthia of Sherman, Jack Odom and wife Erica of Kilgore and Todd LeBrun of Overton; daughter, DeAnne LeBrun of Overton; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; 13 brothers and sisters; many nieces and nephews.

Patsy Ann Cherry Dobbins
     Patsy Ann Cherry (Dobbins) passed away Friday, October 12, 2007 at her home in Lamont, Florida. She was 59 years old at the time of her death. Patsy was born in Colmesneil on May 29, 1948.
  She is survived by her children and their families, Wade King and his wife, Michelle of Sealy, Denise Belt and her husband, Kevin of Colmesneil, and Rhonda Delong and her husband, John of Lamont, Florida. She is also survived by her husband, Drew Cherry, of Lamont, Florida, and her brothers, sister, and their spouses, Carroll Dobbins and wife, Cindy of Humble, Bob Dobbins and wife, Millie of Broussard, Louisiana, Cris Dobbins and wife, Patrice of Colmesneil, Berlin Dobbins of Colmesneil, Paul Dobbins and wife, Sissy of Colmesneil, and Linda Robinson and husband, Gene of Woodville. Patsy was blessed with seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Patsy also leaves behind many valued friends.
  A memorial service will be held on Sunday, Oct. 21 at 3 p.m. at the Katy Baptist Church in Colmesneil.

Patsy Ann Cherry Dobbins
     Patsy Ann Cherry (Dobbins) passed away Friday, October 12, 2007 at her home in Lamont, Florida. She was 59 years old at the time of her death. Patsy was born in Colmesneil on May 29, 1948.
  She is survived by her children and their families, Wade King and his wife, Michelle of Sealy, Denise Belt and her husband, Kevin of Colmesneil, and Rhonda Delong and her husband, John of Lamont, Florida. Bettye Lois Sheffield 
  Bettye Lois Sheffield, 76, of Spurger passed away peacefully on October 8, 2007.
  Born December 6, 1930 in Spurger, Tx to Frenchie and Nancy Barlow Hicks, she lived in Spurger all of her life.  She was a nurse with over 30 years of service.
  She is survived by her loving sons and daughter-in-law, Bryan Sheffield of Austin and Stuart and Letha Sheffield of Spurger; grandchildren, Britney Sheffield of Lumberton, James Sheffield of Spurger and Marcus Tyler Sheffield of New Braunfels.
  A private family service was held Thursday, October 11, 2007, at 11 a.m. at Riley Funeral Home with Brother Steven Waldrep officiating.  Burial followed at Turner Branch Cemetery in Spurger.

Shirley Sue Royer
  Mrs. Shirley Sue Royer, 69, of Vidor passed away on Monday, October 8, 2007 at her residence.
  She was a native of McComb, Mississippi; born on October 1, 1938 to parents Ernest Robert Carter and Ollie Mae Trim Carter. She lived most of her life in the Vidor area. She was a member of Christ Community Church in Vidor. Mrs. Royer was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend who will be miss dearly by all who knew her.
  She is survived by her husband, Eugene “Gene” Royer of Vidor; daughters, Lynda Denise West of Vidor, Jimmie Lynn West of Colmesneil, Catheryne Sue West of Lumberton; brother, Robert Paul Carter of Houston; two granddaughters, two great-granddaughters, one great-grandson; niece, Sheryl Sue Lowe of Vidor, and numerous nieces and nephews.
            A visitation was held on Wednesday, October 10, 2007 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. A Funeral Service was held on Thursday, October 11, 2007 at 2 p.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. Don Huckeba officiating. A burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

Sally Williams Ancell 
  Sally Williams Ancell , 80, of Woodville passed away peacefully unto her Lord on October 8, 2007.
  Born August 8, 1927 in Fleta, AL to Charlie and Mary White Duncan, she lived in Woodville for many years.  She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew her.  Sally was a member of Hillister Baptist Church.
  She is survived by her loving husband, Jerry Ancell of Woodville; sons and daughter-in-law, Mike and Nancy Williams of Woodville and Charles Williams of Beaumont; grandchildren, Jason and April Williams of Fort Drum, NY, Travis and Tiffani Williams of Woodville and Hannah Williams of Woodville; great granddaughter, Jadyn Williams of Woodville; brother and sister-in-law, Ben and Virginia Duncan of Escondido, CA and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
  Funeral service was held Saturday, October 13, 2007, at 2 P.M. at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Delbert Lamb and Brother Clark Mahoney officiating.  Burial followed at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.  Visitation was held Friday evening at the funeral home.
  Serving as pallbearers were Charles Pope, David DeRamus, Al Prichard, Michael Whitley, Byron Holley and Richard Dean.

Wanda Dee Robinson 
  Wanda Dee Robinson, 76, of Beaumont passed away peacefully on October 4, 2007.
  Born September 8, 1930 to Judson and Jewell Dickey Lazenby, she lived in Beaumont for several years.  She was a homemaker.
  She is survived by her loving husband, Joseph E. Robinson of Fannett; sons, Victor Lazenby of Huntington, W.V. and Joe Robinson, Jr. of Winnie; daughters, Barbara Patterson of Fannett, Patsy Hanchett of Fannett and Cora Reich of Dayton; fifteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and six great, great grandchildren.
  A graveside service was held Monday, 8, 2007, at the Camp Ground Cemetery with Victoria Simons officiating.  Visitation was held Sunday at the funeral home.
